New ticket prices will apply in the Hamburg Transport Association (hvv) from 1 January 2026. The prices for single and day tickets will increase by an average of 5.4 per cent. The price adjustment is based on the general price trend (inflation) of recent years. At the same time, the increase is below the price level of the Deutschland-Ticket. The fares for Cuxhaven city transport will change slightly from 1 January 2026. The responsible authority, the Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG), has agreed to a price increase of 1 %. This minor adjustment will only affect single tickets for 5 zones or more.
